Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a TCP services outage, by establishing a large number of TCP connections. This is related to the tracking of network connections.

Recommendations For Cisco Unified Communications Manager versions 4.x through 7.1 before 7.1(2), update to version 7.1(2) or later to resolve the issue. For Cisco Unified Presence versions 1.x through 7.x before 7.0(4), update to version 7.0(4) or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the number of incoming TCP connections to minimize the risk of exploitation.
