Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the fs javascript parameter. This can be exploited by sending a malicious URL to the vulnerable firestats-wordpress.php file.
Recommendations For FireStats plugin versions prior to 1.6.2-stable, update to version 1.6.2-stable or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the firestats-wordpress.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the fs javascript parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
