Description
The issue allows context-dependent attackers to bypass intended access restrictions. This can be achieved via an untrusted (1) applet or (2) application, exploiting the fact that JDK13Services.getProviders grants full privileges to instances of unspecified object types.
Recommendations
For Sun Java SE 5.0 versions prior to Update 20, update to Update 20 or later.
For Sun Java SE 6 versions prior to Update 15, update to Update 15 or later.
For OpenJDK, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
