Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in various parameters, including
is projectPath, GLOBALS[thCMS root], is path, and thCMS root, when register globals is enabled. This affects multiple files in the includes, classes, and modul directories.Recommendations
For MaxCMS version 3.11.20b, consider disabling the
register globals setting to prevent exploitation. Additionally, restrict access to the vulnerable parameters, such as is projectPath, GLOBALS[thCMS root], is path, and thCMS root, until a patch is available. Avoid using these parameters in the affected API endpoints, such as includes/InstantSite/inc.is root.php, classes/class.Tree.php, and modul/mod.rssreader.php, until the issue is resolved.Exploit
