Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an application hang. This is achieved through a JavaScript loop that configures the home page by using the setHomePage method and a DHTML behavior property.
Recommendations For Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6 through 6.0.2900.2180, update to a version later than 6.0.2900.2180 to resolve the issue. For Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 7 through 7.0.6000.16711, update to a version later than 7.0.6000.16711 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling JavaScript execution in Internet Explorer until a patch is available.
