Description The issue allows remote authenticated users with administrative privileges to inject arbitrary PHP code into data/category.db.php via the Category Access field. This is a result of a static code injection vulnerability in the Categories module.

Recommendations For CuteNews version 1.4.6 and earlier, restrict access to the Categories module to minimize the risk of exploitation. For UTF-8 CuteNews before 8b, avoid using the Category Access field in the Categories module until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
