PointComma versions 3.8b2 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the
pcConfig[smartyPath] parameter in the includes/classes/pctemplate.php file.Recommendations
For PointComma versions 3.8b2 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
pctemplate.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the pcConfig[smartyPath] parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
