CVE-2009-4384

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Ez Poll Hoster (EPH) (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. Specifically, the vulnerabilities can be exploited via the pid parameter in a 'code' action to "index.php" and the uid parameter in a 'view' action to "profile.php".
Recommendations For Ez Poll Hoster (EPH), as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters pid and uid in the respective API endpoints until a patch is available. Avoid using the pid parameter in the 'code' action to "index.php" and the uid parameter in the 'view' action to "profile.php" until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
