Simple PHP Blog versions 0.5.1 and earlier
Description
A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote authenticated users to include and execute arbitrary local files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) in the
blog language1 parameter.Recommendations
For Simple PHP Blog versions 0.5.1 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
languages cgi.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the blog language1 parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
