Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote authenticated users to include and execute arbitrary local files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) in the blog language1 parameter.
Recommendations For Simple PHP Blog versions 0.5.1 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the languages cgi.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the blog language1 parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
