Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted JPC MS RGN marker in the Jp2c stream of a JpxDecode encoded data stream. This triggers an integer sign extension that bypasses a sanity check, leading to memory corruption.
Recommendations For Adobe Reader and Acrobat versions 8.x through 8.2, update to version 8.2 or later. For Adobe Reader and Acrobat versions 9.x through 9.3, update to version 9.3 or later.
