CVE-2009-4597

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PHP Inventory version 1.2
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved through the user id parameter in a users details action for remote authenticated users, and via the user (username) and pass (password) parameters for remote attackers.
Recommendations For PHP Inventory version 1.2, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters user id, user, and pass until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using these parameters in the affected API endpoint. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
