Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the query string to jsp/dump.jsp in the JSP Dump feature, or the Name or Value parameter to the default URI for the Session Dump Servlet under session/.
Recommendations For Mort Bay Jetty versions 6.x through 7.0.0, consider disabling the JSP Dump feature and restricting access to the Session Dump Servlet as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Avoid using the Name and Value parameters in the affected Session Dump Servlet URI until the issue is resolved.
