CVE-2009-4936

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Small Pirate (SPirate) version 2.1
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via the id parameter to various endpoints, including the default URI in an rss .xml action, pag1.php, pag1-guest.php, rss-comment post.php, and rss-pic-comment.php.
Recommendations For Small Pirate (SPirate) version 2.1, consider restricting access to the id parameter in the affected endpoints until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the id parameter in the default URI in an rss .xml action, pag1.php, pag1-guest.php, rss-comment post.php, and rss-pic-comment.php to minimize the risk of exploitation.
