Description The issue is related to a memory leak in the on dtp close function in ftpservice.py of pyftpdlib. This allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service by consuming memory. The denial of service can be triggered by sending a QUIT command during a data transfer.

Recommendations For versions prior to 0.5.2, update to version 0.5.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the ftp service to minimize the risk of exploitation.
