Description The issue arises from improper handling of interaction between the XMLHttpRequestSpy object and chrome privileged objects when the XMLHttpRequestSpy module in the Firebug add-on is used. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript via a crafted HTTP response.
Recommendations For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 3.0.19, update to version 3.0.19 or later. For Mozilla Firefox versions 3.5.x prior to 3.5.8, update to version 3.5.8 or later. For SeaMonkey versions prior to 2.0.3, update to version 2.0.3 or later.
