Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) software versions 4.1 through 6.0.x
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to bypass access control lists (ACLs) in the controller CPU, potentially sending network traffic to unintended segments or devices. This is part of a set of vulnerabilities affecting the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller product family, including denial of service (DoS) and privilege escalation vulnerabilities. However, the ACL bypass issue is independent of the other vulnerabilities.
Recommendations
For versions 4.1 through 6.0.x, update to a version that includes the software updates released by Cisco to address these vulnerabilities.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
