CVE-2010-0684

CVSS v2.0

3.5

Low

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:S/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Apache ActiveMQ versions prior to 5.3.1
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This is achieved via the JMSDestination parameter in a queue action in the createDestination.action endpoint.
Recommendations For versions prior to 5.3.1, update to version 5.3.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the createDestination.action endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the JMSDestination parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved.
