CVE-2010-0972

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Joomla! GCalendar (com gcalendar) version 2.1.5
Description A directory traversal issue exists in the GCalendar component for Joomla!, allowing remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) in the controller parameter to the "index.php" endpoint.
Recommendations For version 2.1.5, consider restricting access to the GCalendar component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the controller parameter in the "index.php" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation.
