CVE-2010-1003

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions eFront versions 3.5.x through 3.5.5
Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) in the langname parameter of the language.php file in the tiny mce/langs directory.
Recommendations For eFront versions 3.5.x through 3.5.5, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the language.php file in the tiny mce/langs directory to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the langname parameter in the affected file until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
