CVE-2010-1244

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Apache ActiveMQ versions prior to 5.3.1
Description A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to hijack the authentication of victims for requests that create queues. This is achieved via the JMSDestination parameter in a queue action, specifically in the createDestination.action endpoint.
Recommendations For versions prior to 5.3.1, update to version 5.3.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the createDestination.action endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the JMSDestination parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved.
