VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Joomla! component com mmsblog version 2.3.0
Description A directory traversal issue in the MMS Blog component for Joomla! allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files, and possibly have other unspecified impacts, by using a .. (dot dot) in the controller parameter to "index.php".
Recommendations For version 2.3.0, consider restricting access to the "index.php" endpoint until a patch is available, and avoid using the controller parameter with dot dot notation to minimize the risk of exploitation.
