CVE-2010-1537

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions phpCDB versions 1.0 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the lang global parameter to various API endpoints, including "firstvisit.php", "newfolder.php", "showfolders.php", "newlang.php", "showinnerfolder.php", "writecode.php", and "showcode.php".
Recommendations For phpCDB versions 1.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the lang global parameter in the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the lang global parameter in the affected API endpoints. Restrict access to the affected API endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
