CVE-2010-2007
CVSS v2.0
6.8
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
LetoDMS (formerly MyDMS) versions 1.7.2 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests. This can be done by exploiting multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities when using certain API endpoints, such as "op/op.EditUserData.php", "op/op.UsrMgr.php", "out/out.RemoveVersion.php", "op/op.RemoveFolder.php", "op/op.DefaultKeywords.php", "op/op.GroupMgr.php", "op/op.FolderAccess.php", "op/op.FolderNotify.php", or "op.MoveFolder.php" in mydms.
Recommendations
For LetoDMS versions 1.7.2 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling access to the vulnerable API endpoints until a patch is available. Restrict access to the
op and out directories to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using these endpoints in administrative requests until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
