CVE-2010-2718
CVSS v2.0
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
CruxSoftware CruxPA versions 2.00 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This can be achieved via the
txtusername parameter to "login.php", the todo parameter to "newtodo.php", and unspecified vectors to "newtelephone.php" and "newappointment.php".Recommendations
For CruxSoftware CruxPA versions 2.00 and earlier, consider restricting access to the affected API endpoints "login.php", "newtodo.php", "newtelephone.php", and "newappointment.php" until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the
txtusername and todo parameters in the respective endpoints. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
