Description
The issue is related to the improper parsing of .dir files by the IML32.dll component, which can lead to memory corruption or the execution of arbitrary code when a malformed file with an invalid value is processed. This can be achieved by including a specific invalid value, such as one at position 0x24C6 of a certain file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Shockwave Player versions prior to 11.5.8.612, update to version 11.5.8.612 or later to resolve the issue.
