Description
The issue is related to a heap-based buffer overflow in the HX split function, located in string.c. This can be exploited by remote attackers using a string that does not match the expected number of fields, potentially leading to the execution of arbitrary code or causing the application to crash.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 3.6, update to version 3.6 or later to resolve the issue.
