CVSS v2.0
6.8
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
DiamondList versions 0.1.6 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests, including changing the administrative password or the site's configuration, due to multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities in the user/main/update user endpoint.
Recommendations
For DiamondList versions 0.1.6 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the user/main/update user endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using this endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
