Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This can be achieved via the
excerpt parameter to the "application/modules/admin/controllers/posts.php" endpoint, reachable by "admin/posts/edit", and the content parameter to the "application/modules/admin/controllers/pages.php" endpoint, also reachable by "admin/posts/edit".Recommendations
For Open Blog versions 1.2.1 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
