CVSS v2.0

9.3

High

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions FTPGetter Team FTPGetter versions 3.51.0.05 and earlier
Description A directory traversal issue allows remote FTP servers to write arbitrary files by including a ".." (dot dot backslash) in a filename.
Recommendations For versions 3.51.0.05 and earlier, consider restricting access to the FTP feature until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the FTP functionality with untrusted remote servers. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
