Description
The issue allows local users, and possibly remote attackers, to execute arbitrary code and conduct DLL hijacking attacks. This can be achieved via a Trojan horse dwmapi.dll located in the same folder as a .jsx file.
Recommendations
For Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit (ESTK) CS5 version 3.5.0.52, consider restricting access to untrusted search paths to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using .jsx files from untrusted sources until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
