Description The issue allows context-dependent attackers to obtain sensitive information from process memory by executing an incorrect program. This is related to the fortify fail function, and the stack chk fail (aka stack protection) and chk fail (aka FORTIFY SOURCE) implementations. The problem might be demonstrated by a setuid program that contains a stack-based buffer overflow error.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
