Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service, resulting in memory corruption and application crash, via a crafted movie file. This is achieved by causing an image sample transformation to scale a sprite outside a buffer boundary.

Recommendations For QuickTime in Apple Mac OS X versions 10.6.x through 10.6.4, update to version 10.6.5 or later to resolve the issue.
