Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service due to memory corruption and application crash via a crafted web site. This is caused by improper handling of the :first-letter pseudo-element in a Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) token sequence.

Recommendations For Safari versions prior to 5.0.3 on Mac OS X 10.5 through 10.6 and Windows, update to version 5.0.3 or later. For Safari versions prior to 4.1.3 on Mac OS X 10.4, update to version 4.1.3 or later.
