CVE-2010-4057

CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions IBM solidDB version 6.5.0.3 and earlier
Description The issue arises from improper handling of packet data containing many integer fields with two different values, leading to a denial of service due to invalid memory access and daemon crash. This can be exploited by remote attackers via a TCP session on port 1315.
Recommendations For IBM solidDB version 6.5.0.3 and earlier, consider restricting access to port 1315 to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limiting the number of integer fields in packet data may also help mitigate the issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
