Description
The issue is related to the handling of postMessage calls in the browser/worker host/message port dispatcher.cc component. It allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference and application crash, via crafted JavaScript code that creates a web worker.
Recommendations
For Google Chrome versions prior to 8.0.552.224, update to version 8.0.552.224 or later to resolve the issue.
For Chrome OS versions prior to 8.0.552.343, update to version 8.0.552.343 or later to resolve the issue.
