CVE-2010-3676

CVSS v2.0

4.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions MySQL versions prior to 5.1.49
Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service by modifying certain configuration parameters for the InnoDB storage engine and then executing a DDL statement. Specifically, this can be done by altering the innodb file format or innodb file per table configuration parameters.
Recommendations For versions prior to 5.1.49, update to version 5.1.49 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting modifications to the innodb file format and innodb file per table configuration parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation.
