Description
The socket implementation in the Linux kernel has an issue with managing a backlog of received packets. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by sending a large amount of network traffic. The issue is related to the
sk add backlog function and the sk rmem alloc socket field.Recommendations
For Linux kernel versions prior to 2.6.35, update to version 2.6.35 or later to resolve the issue.
