Description A use-after-free issue in the setOuterText method in the htmlelement library in WebKit allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service, resulting in memory corruption and application crash. This occurs via vectors related to DOM manipulations during iTunes Store browsing.

Recommendations For Apple iTunes version 10.2 and earlier on Windows, update to version 10.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting iTunes Store browsing until the update is applied.
