4.3

| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
HP Power Manager versions 4.3.2 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via several parameters, including the
logType parameter to "Contents/exportlogs.asp", the Id parameter to "Contents/pagehelp.asp", or the SORTORD or SORTCOL parameters to "Contents/applicationlogs.asp".Recommendations
For HP Power Manager versions 4.3.2 and earlier, update to a version later than 4.3.2 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the affected API endpoints, such as "Contents/exportlogs.asp", "Contents/pagehelp.asp", and "Contents/applicationlogs.asp", until a patch is available.
Avoid using the
logType, Id, SORTORD, and SORTCOL parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.Fix
