| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Cisco TelePresence endpoint devices versions 1.2.x through 1.6.x
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a service crash, via a malformed SOAP request. This can occur in conjunction with a spoofed TelePresence Manager that supplies an invalid IP address.
Recommendations
For versions 1.2.x through 1.6.x, consider restricting access to the SOAP request endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the TelePresence Manager with invalid IP addresses until a fix is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
