Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a device reload, when the RIP protocol and the Cisco Phone Proxy functionality are configured. This can be achieved via a RIP update.
Recommendations
For versions 8.0 through 8.0(5.19), update to version 8.0(5.20) or later.
For versions 8.1 through 8.1(2.47), update to version 8.1(2.48) or later.
For versions 8.2 through 8.2(2), update to version 8.2(3) or later.
For versions 8.3 through 8.3(1), update to version 8.3(2.1) or later.
