Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, specifically disk consumption, by making many SSHv1 connections. This is due to the improper removal of
sshd lock files from the /tmp/ directory.Recommendations
For Cisco IOS XR versions 3.6.x through 3.9.0, update to version 3.9.1 or later.
For Cisco IOS XR version 3.8.x, update to version 3.8.3 or later.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting SSHv1 connections to minimize the risk of exploitation.
