Description The issue is related to the improper management of the c timelimit field of the connection table element in the slapd component. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a daemon outage, by exploiting Simple Paged Results connections. This can be achieved by replaying TCP sessions using multiple processes.

Recommendations For versions prior to 1.2.8.a2, update to version 1.2.8.a2 or later to resolve the issue.
