Description The issue is related to the AuthCache purge implementation in the Security component, which fails to purge a user from the PlatformCredential cache. This might allow remote authenticated users to gain privileges by leveraging a group membership specified in an old RACF Object.

Recommendations For IBM WebSphere Application Server versions 6.1.0.x through 6.1.0.36, update to version 6.1.0.37 or later. For IBM WebSphere Application Server versions 7.x through 7.0.0.14, update to version 7.0.0.15 or later.
