CVE-2011-1364

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google App Engine Python SDK versions prior to 1.5.4
Description A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) issue exists in the Interactive Console of the Google App Engine Python SDK. This allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that execute arbitrary Python code via the code parameter.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.5.4, update to version 1.5.4 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Interactive Console to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the code parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
