| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
InTerra Blog Machine versions 1.84 and earlier
Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the
subject parameter to the "post url/edit" endpoint. This could potentially lead to unauthorized actions on the affected system.Recommendations
For InTerra Blog Machine versions 1.84 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "post url/edit" endpoint until a patch is available. Avoid using the
subject parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
