Description
The issue allows remote attackers to read content from a different domain or zone via a "trial and error" attack. An information disclosure vulnerability exists, which can be exploited by constructing a specially crafted Web page containing malicious JavaScript code, potentially allowing an attacker to view content from another domain or Internet Explorer zone.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, consider restricting access to malicious JavaScript code as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Avoid using the browser to access potentially malicious Web pages until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
