CVSS v2.0

9.3

High

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions eSignal version 10.6.2425.1208
Description The issue allows local users, and possibly remote attackers, to execute arbitrary code and conduct DLL hijacking attacks via a Trojan horse JRS UT.dll that is located in the same folder as a .quo (QUOTE) file.
Recommendations For version 10.6.2425.1208, consider restricting access to the JRS UT.dll file to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using .quo files from untrusted sources until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
