Description The issue is related to multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in the browser engine. These vulnerabilities can be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in memory corruption and application crash, or possibly execute arbitrary code. The exploitation vectors include a compartment mismatch associated with the nsDOMMessageEvent::GetData function, as well as unknown other vectors.
Recommendations For Mozilla Firefox versions 4.x through 8.0, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For Thunderbird versions 5.0 through 8.0, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For SeaMonkey versions prior to 2.6, update to version 2.6 or later to resolve the issue.
