5.0
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
OpenBlog version 1.2.1
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via a direct request to a .php file. This is achieved by accessing specific files, such as "system/scaffolding/views/view.php", which reveals the installation path in an error message.
Recommendations
For OpenBlog version 1.2.1, consider restricting access to sensitive .php files, such as "system/scaffolding/views/view.php", to prevent the disclosure of installation paths. As a temporary workaround, modify error handling to prevent revealing sensitive information in error messages.
